• Trigger: UC-LMS.13 AF 2E — instructor clicks the "Manage Asset" tab in the Cohort Dashboard (SCR-LMS.50)

• Layout reference: SCR-CCM.24 (Asset Library embedded section of the Content Editor) — same layout, different entity pool (post-publish vs. draft)

The "Manage Asset" tab section within the Cohort Dashboard — manages the Asset Library for the Course linked to this Cohort. Four regions: Filter bar, Asset list, Upload area, Preview panel.

• flow.puml shows a direct transition ManageAssetLibrary → QuizBuilder : Add Asset Quiz / click quiz row — so clicking "+ Add Asset" while the Quiz tab is active is rendered here as an immediate hand-off to Quiz Builder (new quiz), rather than opening the inline upload area, since upload_type_selector has no "Quiz" option. Clicking "+ Add Asset" on the SCORM tab still opens the inline upload area defaulted to File, per additional_requirements #5 of the Screen Spec (SCR-LMS.58) — confirmed by OI-207: new assets can only be File/Video/Assignment; SCORM/Quiz cannot be created here.

1. Asset pool is scoped at the InstituteCourse level — shared by every Cohort under that Course.
2. Default sort: date added descending; also supports sort by asset name and file size.
3. col_file_size / preview_file_size hidden ("—") for Assignment rows — no physical file stored.
4. delete_asset disabled when usage_count > 0; hover tooltip shows the count; confirmation modal required before deleting.
5. upload_type_selector default by active type_filter: All/Files/SCORM → File, Video → Video, Assignment → Assignment.
6. replace_file_input validation failure shows inline error in the Preview panel: "This file is not valid — check the type or size and try again."
7. Only instructors listed in CohortStaff for this Cohort may access Manage Asset.
8. (UC-LMS.22 additional requirement #5, resolved via OI-207) New assets can only be created for File, Video, and Assignment types — SCORM and Quiz cannot be created here (existing ones can only be viewed/edited, AF 2A.Q / AF 2A.A). Any asset created through this section is version-pinned to the Cohort's pinned_version_major.
